Summer League Operators Meeting
In order to review and discuss the Tournament software used at the Nationals in Las Vegas, The Board has decided to move the Summer League Operator meeting to August 3, 2013. This meeting will be hosted by Chula Vista. The meeting start time will be posted as soon as the Board receives details back on an available room.
All players and league operators are welcome to attend. Please remember that only the league operators (or their representatives) have the right to vote. Come see what is going on with the WIBCAPL, your input is valuable to us.
Current agenda will include: Tournament software, Splitting the tournament into two weekends, voting for President, Secretary, and two trustees.
If you are interested in running for one of these positions, please submit your request (via email) to our Secretary, Kim Silber by June, 15th, 2013. Your request should include: what position you're interested in and a statement of why you're interested in the position, along with what you can add to the organization. No late requests will be honored. Keep in mind that among the duties that come with the position, you are REQUIRED to attend meetings and to help out at the State Tournament.
The WIBCAPL Board would like to thank everyone that participated in the 2013 Wisconsin BCA State Tournament. The tournament was a great success and entries were up from last year. We had a few bumps, but all around, the tournament was a better than ever.
The WIBCAPL is pleased to announce that the 2014 state championships will be held at the Chula Vista Resort in WI Dells, WI on May 7-11, 2014. With the continued growth to this event, the WIBCAPL searched for a larger venue. The Wisconsin Dells Center (otherwise known as "The Dome") will be the area used for this event.
